Every resident of Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) will have access to high-speed Internet service as a result of a $1-million contract announced by the province today, August 1.

The contract with OmniGlobe Networks is part of the Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia initiative which will make Nova Scotia one of the most connected jurisdictions in North America.

OmniGlobe Networks is pleased to announce that we have been selected by the Government of Nova Scotia to deliver wireless broadband Internet services to residents and businesses located throughout rural Halifax Regional Municipality.

The project is part of a Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia initiative which will make the province one of the most connected jurisdictions in North America.
