BROADBAND FOR REMOTE AREAS

OmniGlobe Networks is pleased to announce that we have been selected by the County of Perth to deliver wireless broadband Internet services to residents and businesses located in the rural areas of the region.

The project, which is part of a $10 million Ontario government initiative awarded to 18 rural municipalities, is designed to provide affordable, accessible and reliable broadband access for public and private sectors located in rural areas and is made possible through funding provided by the Rural Connections – Ontario Municipal Broadband Partnership Program of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).

The project has already commenced and is expected to be completed by the summer 2008.
Residents and businesses interested in finding out more about the service or wishing to being kept
updated on our network coverage and expansion are invited to submit their contact information
